Event schedule:

FRIDAY:

5pm: Gates open
6pm: TNT begins
7pm: ONE time run for 32 car shootout competitors
Run to completion.
(Jr gambler if enough interest)

SATURDAY:

8am: gates/tech booth opens
10am: time runs
Run to completion - Duck Race time permitting
After completion of main event: Nick Agresta Memorial “Do a Wheelie” contest and burnout contest
Time permitting: pit vehicle race

SUNDAY:

8am: gates open
10am: ONE time run
Run to completion

The Mid-Summer Coal Rush Twenties event has been CANCELLED in its entirety due to low racer interest.

We didn’t pick up the amount of entries we needed to be able to open the gates next weekend. We would like to apologize to those that have supported us to try to make this event happen and to those that were looking forward to the festivities. THANK YOU to the folks that did register, we hope to see you at a WFP event in the future!

The refund process has already begun as this post goes up. Checks will be in the mail tomorrow. Jesse will be racing at the Midstate Twin 10k series this weekend in Havana, Illinois if anyone is pre-registered and would like to pick their check up at the track.

We WILL be back for next year. The plan is already coming together!

We are trending in the right direction! We are at 110 committed entries. Only 15 short of where we need to be!

Mid-Summer Coal Rush Twenties update:

We are currently sitting at 87 entries for the event. We are needing another 38 pre-entries by Wednesday and if we reach that goal we will be opening the gates next weekend!

Unfortunately if we don’t reach 125 entries, or fall short of that by more than a few, we will be forced to cancel the event in its entirety.
