Gypsy Vanner horses are known for their abundance of hair. Mane, Tail and Feather, the thick hair around the feet is the distinguishing features of the Gypsy draft horses. Know in the UK as Gypsy Cobs, Irish Tinkers, Irish Cobs etc, the best of the best have been imported into the USA since the late 1990s and now there are around 3-4000 in the country.
