Nominations are officially open for the Kansas City Chiefs Youth Coach of the Week and we know the Hawks have some incredible coaches who deserve the spotlight! 💚

Throughout the 2026 NFL season, eight Pop Warner coaches will be recognized for their leadership, character and dedication to making a difference in the lives of young athletes.

Think about the coach who goes the extra mile, encourages every player and makes an impact both on and off the field. This is your chance to nominate them!

BUILT NOT GIVEN. We have been working hard to grow, last year we said 2026 would be even bigger and it is, we’ve grown exponentially. We went from around 100 athletes last year to, nearly double AGAIN!!!! We have around 185 athletes this year.

We’ve built this organization year by year. 💚 And we’re so proud of how far it’s come!

Think you can outlast everyone and pick a winner each week? 👀We’re kicking off our Independence Hawks Survivor League Fundraiser for the 2026–27 NFL season!

💰 Cost: $20
➡️ $10 goes into the winner’s pot
➡️ $10 goes directly back to the Independence Hawks Youth Football & Cheer program

Each week, you’ll pick ONE NFL team you think will win. If they win, you survive and move on. If they lose… you’re OUT! 😬

Some of our 2nd grade team got together for Chiefs Training Camp today! They got to watch some of the practice and got some autographs from Nick Bolton, Noah Gray & one other! ❤️💛 It was great team bonding. 🤞🏻

We have wrapped up our 2026 Hawks Kickoff Party!!! 🤩 Thank you all for coming out, we are so excited to get the season kicked off this year!

Our Independence Hawks 4th grade team battled it out in the Showcase Tournament this weekend and pulled off a win in the final minutes of both games!! 🤩 They worked their butts off and earned those RINGS!!! 💍
