#6 vacation coyote was a nice looking male. I had just dropped the female a few minutes earlier. I did a few female interrogation howls and here he comes from the opposite direction. This guy was an absolute pain🤪
I threw 10+ sounds out there. Volume up and down. He wanted zero to do with any of it. Finally I just stood still and watched him work my way. Dropped him 50 yds from #5.

#5 vacation coyote was this skin and bones petite female. I almost left the field before she came out of the woods. I had been there over 40 minutes with nothing happening. As soon as I walked out to grab the Foxpro. She come trotting out of the woods. Watching her mousing in the freshly win rowed hay. She wanted nothing to do with anything I threw out there. Finally a vole sqk got her heading my way. She came to within 30 yds of the farm rake tractor. 💥🐺💤👇

While Mike was up in Northern Michigan on his Vacation, Nate was hunting Southern Michigan with his nephew. He said “Uncle Nate, I’ve heard some yotes at my place”

This was my Newphew Blakes 2nd coyote, the first one with me. The great part about this was I was able to give Blake a “play by play” of what, how and why I approach stands the way I do. We talked about stand approach, wind, sounds and why etc. Not knowing where the dogs were, we went in blind to the field.

In less than 10 minutes this dog came out, EXACTLY how I said he would. And Blake put him down with an awesome shot at 100 yards. It always feels good to show the next generation some of the keys we use to unlock success.

#5 and #6 of my vacation coyotes! Same field as #3 too!!
The farmer just win-rowed the fresh cut hay today. So I decided that this should be my starting point tonight. I did some vocals and they both came in on howls, but acted almost uninterested in anything else I put out there . The videos are shortened but they both basically hunted/moused their way towards me. Nothing I was throwing out there even came close to getting their attention. #2 came out 10 min after #1 got taken out.

#4 vacation coyote was taken by our friend Nicholas Hall from Beyond The Call Podcast . He doesn't live too far from where I am staying. So we met up for a night of calling. We heard a few groups but only seen this one. Nice shooting bud!

#3 vacation coyote was a bit more interesting. I parked on the east side and walked across the road and hunted 300 yds out on the west side where they normally come from. Well of course they light up only a few hundred yards from the car and the fog is soo bad I can't see more than 100 yds thru the thermal. Disgusted with the weather I headed back to the car. Set out the x24 and tried to get them closer. After a few min of kitten and pup distress/fights. I thew out an MFK Game Calls Smack lone howl. Of course right across the field right where I just came from 15 min ago. I get a response!! That bu**er was coming to my first set up and I never knew it.
I grabbed up my tripod and ran down the road and up the driveway just in time to catch him leaving the area. One lip squeak and the Sniper scope was lined up!
Crazy how he walked right over my path in and out from just 15 min earlier.

#2 vacation coyote last night. It was super foggy everywhere I went. But the Predator Thermal Optics cut thru! Took me a bit to get this female to respond. So as soon as she appeared I wasn't going to let her turn around and leave.
