Bullfighters have the most important job in the arena; protecting the cowboys. We are incredibly thankful to have a great trio of bullfighters at the Snake River Showdown.

This will be their second year representing the Jeff Crockett Memorial Foundation with custom jerseys.

The Jeff Crockett Memorial Foundation is dedicated to providing compassionate and unwavering support to families who have tragically lost a loved one within the rodeo community. They strive to offer comfort, assistance and resources to help families navigate their grief and rebuild their lives with strength and resilience.

Their mission involves participating in rodeo events and hosting fundraisers to collect resources for families in crisis. These funds help with final expenses, offer emotional support, and provide access to love and care – through cards, financial aid, and more – that might otherwise be out of reach.

We’ve been getting some questions about the Snake River Showdown bull riding so let’s answer some!

• Is it just one weekend?
Yes, Snake River Showdown is a one weekend bull riding event which will be August 21-22nd in Idaho Falls at Sandy Downs.

• What time does it start?
Gates open at 5:30pm, show starts at 7pm.

• Is it family friendly?
Yes, very much so! It’s great for families, date night, etc! Kids 5 and under get in free!

• Is it a rodeo, or if not, how is it different?
We call it a bull riding rather than a rodeo because rodeo encompasses multiple events and we just buck bulls. Bull riding is the most popular, high adrenaline rodeo event and Snake River Showdown brings that action all night long!

• Do we need to get tickets in advance?
We recommend getting tickets online in advance but they will be available at the gate as well.

There have been some questions on Snake River Showdown VIP tickets so let’s answer them!

- Where can we buy tickets?
Both VIP and General Admission tickets can be purchased online at https://www.universe.com/events/snake-river-showdown-tickets-KM6V7G

- What does VIP include?
VIP includes table seating on the arena floor (as close as you can possibly get to the action) and a delicious catered dinner!

- Can kids be in the VIP area?
Yes, kids are welcome in the VIP area! Children ages 5 and under are admitted free but must sit on the lap of a ticketed adult. Children over 5 years old will need their own VIP ticket.

- How does the VIP seating work?
VIP seating is at tables located on the arena floor, with 8 seats per table. If you purchase 8 VIP tickets, you'll have a private table for your group. Smaller groups may be seated with other guests.

A private VIP table is perfect for birthdays, employee appreciation, client entertainment, family gatherings, or a night out with friends!
