Somewhere along the way, you may have been taught that your body was something to fix. Something to manage. Something to keep at a distance until it finally looked or felt acceptable enough to live in.
That framing wears on the body over time. It pulls you out of yourself. It keeps healing perpetually a few steps away, contingent on a version of you that has not arrived yet.
Healing rarely begins in opposition to your body. It begins in the slow return to it. The small moments of listening. The pause before you override what it is telling you. The quiet recognition that it has been here, with you, through everything.
Your body is not in the way of your healing. It is the ground beneath it. The place where care actually has somewhere to land. The relationship that, when tended to, changes how you move through everything else.
What might shift if you allowed your body to be the place where healing begins, rather than the thing you are healing from?
