History was made yesterday! Trinity Catholic's first-ever girls' golf team competed in its first tournament.

We are a young program with a lot of girls still learning the game, so two of our players teed it up while two more came along to see how a tournament runs and cheer on their teammates. It was a hot day and a long one, and a first tournament is hard on anybody. These girls stuck with it and finished, and that is exactly what I asked of them.

Watching them step onto a course for the very first time as Trinity Catholic golfers is something I will not forget. I could not be prouder to be their coach.

This is just the beginning. Go Celtics!
