Strength doesn’t always look like lifting heavier weights.
Sometimes it looks like…
✔️ Stepping over obstacles without losing your balance.
✔️ Carrying laundry without fear of falling.
✔️ Walking farther without needing to stop.
✔️ Having the confidence to stay active.
Every session is built around real-life movement so our clients can continue living safely and independently in the place they love most.
That’s what Six20 At Home is all about.
💪 Stay Strong. Stay Independent. Stay Home.

One of our favorite things about Six20 is getting to watch people do hard things.
Emily has every reason to make excuses.
After a life-altering brain injury, she spent 35 days between Wesley Hospital and Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital. Life looks different now than it did before.
But week after week, she shows up. She puts in the work. She keeps getting stronger.
What I admire most, though, isn’t what she’s doing for herself but what she’s doing for others.
Emily took one of the hardest experiences of her life and turned it into something that serves our community by starting the Hutchinson Brain Injury Support Group, which meets on the second Wednesday of every month from 1:00–2:00 PM at the Hutchinson Public Library.
Emily, we’re proud to have you as part of the Six20 family. Thank you for showing us what resilience, consistency, and service to others really look like. 🖤💪
If you’d like to hear Emily share her story in her own words, you can watch it here:

5 months of consistency.
We’re proud of Ayden and the work he’s put in over the last five months. His progress goes well beyond the number on the scale:
• 13.4 lbs lost
• 9.6 lbs of it from body fat
• Body fat: 21.9% → 18.7%
• Visceral fat: 5.2 → 3.5
• Body water: 53.9% → 56.0%
• Metabolic age: 29 → 21
This is exactly why, at Six20, we don’t just track weight, we track body composition for EVERY member.
The scale only tells you how much you weigh. Body composition tells you what you’re gaining and what you’re losing. It helps us know if you’re actually building muscle, reducing body fat, and improving your overall health, so your plan can be adjusted based on real data.
Great work, Ayden. We’re excited for you! 💪

Shoutout to Meggan! She hit 30s for her 2-rep PR, proof that consistency pays off. Every workout is another chance to get a little stronger, and it’s awesome to watch the progress add up.
Help us congratulate Meggan! 👏

☀️ Midsummer Special - Your $75 Initial Consultation Is On Us!
A lot of people think joining a gym means signing a waiver and hoping they figure it out and stay consistent.
That's not how we do things.
Every new member at Six20 starts with an in-depth Initial Consultation where we'll learn about your goals, assess your movement, review body composition, cover the basics of nutrition, introduce you to the gym, set up the Six20 app, and recommend the program that's the best fit for you.
This consultation is normally $75, but now through the end of August, we're waiving the fee so more people can experience what makes Six20 different.
If you've been waiting for the right time to start, we'd love to meet you.

Ten Strength Training Hills We'll Die On 💪
1. Strength training is one of the best investments you can make in your future health.
2. Muscle isn't just for athletes, it's your insurance policy against aging.
3. You don't have to train like an athlete. You just have to train consistently.
4. The goal isn't to look strong. It's to be strong enough for real life.
5. Strength training improves bone density, balance, metabolism, heart health, and mental health... not just muscle.
6. Cardio is important, but if you neglect strength, you're leaving one of the biggest pieces of longevity on the table.
7. The best exercise program is the one you'll actually stick with.
8. It's never too late to get stronger. We've watched people in their 60s, 70s, and 80s completely change what they thought was possible.
9. The goal isn't six-pack abs. It's carrying your grandkids, climbing stairs, traveling, and staying independent for decades.
10. Getting stronger makes almost every other part of life easier.
