Today, we honor the lives lost on September 11, 2001.

We honor the first responders who ran toward danger, the families who carry that loss, and the countless acts of courage and sacrifice that followed.

25 years later, we haven’t forgotten what happened that day or the way our country came together in the days that followed.

🌧️ Much needed hydration.

We finally got some rain — a good reminder that our bodies need it too.

💧 Easy starting point: Aim for roughly ½ your body weight in ounces of fluid each day.
180 lbs → about 90 oz/day

💧 Training or sweating? Add roughly 16–24 oz per hour of exercise, adjusting for heat and how heavily you sweat.

💧 Quick hydration check: Your urine should generally be pale yellow. Darker urine can be a sign you need more fluids.

💧 For most everyday activity, water is plenty. Longer, hotter, sweatier sessions may warrant electrolytes.

Hydration affects performance, recovery, temperature regulation, and how you feel throughout the day.

The ground needed it. We do too. 🌧️💪

Shoutout to Tracy! 💪

Tracy started with us about a year ago following her first knee surgery. She hadn’t been working out consistently and wasn’t exactly excited about the idea of starting.

Since then, she’s been consistently training twice a week with Raven alongside a great group of women—and the results have added up.

After her second knee surgery, she only took two days off before getting back to what she could safely do in the gym. She says this recovery was much easier and went better than the first.

She’s gained muscle, gotten stronger, and built some great friendships with women who push each other to keep lifting heavy and keep showing up.

A year of consistency and a lot of wins to show for it. Great work, Tracy! 👏

What happens during your first week at Six20?

Walking into a new gym can be intimidating, especially if you’re not sure where to start. That’s why we don’t expect you to just walk in and figure it out.

At Six20, we start with you.

→ Consult — We sit down and talk about where you are, your history, and what brought you through the door.

→ Goals — We figure out what you actually want from the gym. More strength? Less pain? Better health? More confidence? Keeping up with your kids or grandkids?

→ Plan — Together, we determine the best path forward based on your goals, experience, schedule, and budget.

→ Coaching — If you need help learning the equipment, building a program, or having someone beside you, that’s what we’re here for.

→ Confidence — The goal isn’t for you to depend on us forever. It’s to help you become stronger, more capable, and more confident in what you’re doing.

You don’t need to be “in shape” before you start.

You just need a place to start.

And we’d love to help you find it.

These ladies put in the work this Labor Day. 💪

Katy said it best during their small group:

“I love seeing ladies lift heavy weight. Stronger, not smaller.”

And we love that mentality.

Strength training doesn’t always have to be about changing how you look. It’s about what your body can do—being strong, capable, confident, and able to keep doing the things you love.

There’s also something pretty great about getting stronger alongside other people.

Stronger, not smaller. We’re here for it.

Consistency gets a lot easier when the gym fits your life. Early mornings. Late nights. Holidays. Before work. After the kids are in bed. Whenever you can make it happen.

That’s why all Six20 members have 24/7 access.

You don’t need the perfect schedule. You just need the opportunity to keep showing up—even when life gets busy.

Day by day. Week by week. That consistency adds up.

If you’re looking for a gym that gives you the flexibility to make fitness fit your life, come check out Six20.

We train farmer carries in the gym for moments like this.

Strength isn’t just about lifting more weight.
It’s carrying your kids when they’re tired.
Bringing in all the groceries in one trip.
Moving furniture.
Doing yard work.
Getting up off the floor.
Keeping up with your family.

The goal isn’t just to be strong in the gym. The goal is to build strength that follows you into real life and keeps doing so at 40, 50, 60 and beyond.

Train for the life you want to keep living!

Welcome to Kaylee!

Kaylee is a familiar face, having previously worked as a trainer at the gym, and we’re incredibly thankful to have her experience and energy helping our team during this season.

She earned her bachelor’s degree from Wichita State University in 2017 and is certified in both group exercise and pre- and postnatal exercise. Kaylee also serves as the Head High School and Middle School Cross-Country Coach at Central Christian in Hutchinson, bringing a strong background in coaching, leadership, and helping people become more confident in what their bodies can do.

At Six20, Kaylee will be helping lead our high-energy Lunch Power half-hour classes and working with select 1-on-1 personal training clients.

Kaylee has been married to her husband, Cody, for nine years, and together they have three boys, all seven and under.

Her approach to fitness is rooted in her faith and the belief that God designed us to move our bodies to glorify Him. If she can help someone move better, get stronger, and feel more capable along the way, she’s excited to be part of it.

We’re grateful to have Kaylee helping at Six20 and excited for the impact she’ll make with our members!

Tharin has hit the ground running! 💪

He’s already working with clients, building relationships, and doing an excellent job bringing professional coaching to every session.

In this photo, he’s working on thoracic mobility, something that can easily get overlooked when the focus is simply on getting stronger. Good mobility through the upper back plays a big role in shoulder function, overhead movement, posture, rotation, and your ability to perform strength exercises with better mechanics.

Strength matters, but being able to move well through the range you have matters too. The goal isn’t just to lift more, it’s to build a body that is strong, capable, and moves well for the long haul.

We’re excited to have Tharin on the Six20 team and even more excited to see the impact he’s already making with his clients!
