A huge thank you to all of our amazing member volunteers who came out last weekend to help us close up Hurley Rec for the season! From packing everything away to getting the pool covered & ready for winter, we couldn’t do it without you.

The Onteora varsity girls swimming team kicked off the dual meet season with a strong performance against Pine Bush!

Standout performances include Julia Young with 1st place in both the 50 Freestyle and 100 Breaststroke, (posting TWO sectional-qualifying times!) and Eva Brueckner (7th grade) who set personal bests in both the 100 Freestyle and 100 Breaststroke.

Great start to the season, Eagles!

🎉 Let’s Close Out the 2026 Season in Style! 🎉

Join us at Hurley Rec for our End of Season Party as we celebrate another amazing summer together!

We’ll be firing up the grill for a last BBQ, and we’re asking everyone to help make the feast complete by signing up to bring a potluck side dish or dessert to share. 🌭🍔🍉

And because we couldn’t end the season without it... the foam machine is BACK! 🫧 Plus, enjoy pool games, music, plenty of fun, and the return of the beloved Hurley Rec Pool Limbo! 🏊‍♀️🎶

🌙 Pool Hours Update! 🌙

It’s getting a little chilly once the sun goes down, so we’re adjusting our weekday pool hours!

🏊 Monday–Friday: Pool closes at 7PM
☀️ Saturday & Sunday: Open until 8PM as usual

And don’t forget this Saturday, we’re staying open late until 9PM for our Tween/Teen Party! 🎉🌙

Make the most of these last summer days at the Rec! 💦❤️
