North Alabama bass club

We at NABC would like to apologize, our League website has been down for several weeks now, we are trying to correct the issues and get back online.

We will be fishing Wilson Lake in September this will most likely be our last night tournament of the year. Last month we fished out of Ditto Landing, was tough on many of us however a few managed some good sacks. hope to see everybody out there. If you are interested in a economical, competitive fishing club, come check us out, we meet the second Thursday of each month, Olive Garden on University drive at 6pm.

NABC will be starting a new year this November, we meet in October to elect new Club Officials and get the new season kicked off. NABC uses a draw format to link non boaters up with boaters so nobody gets left out. Check us out, you can fish as a guest or you can become a member, your choice. Our fees are minimal, $25 a year and $25 each tournament.

November starts off a new year with North Alabama Bass club, we would like to invite anyone who enjoys competitive Bass Fishing on a scaled down budget. Our entry fee is $25.00 a tournament, with a $25.00 yearly club fee. If you are interested please join us this Thursday at 6:00 PM at West End Grill. The club usually meets the Thursday before the second Saturday of each month to pay fees and draw partners. You do not need a boat, just the desire to fish. North Alabama Bass Club For over 47 years, NABC has been filling a position in our fishing community providing friendly fishing competition without being affiliated with any major bass fishing organization. The club welcomes both boaters and non-boaters that are at least 18 years old.

Looking forward to get on the Coosa, Logan Martin in April!!

Saturday’s tournament at Logan Martin once again showed why we love to go there. Every person fishing caught a limit of those mean Coosa Spots. Congratulations to Charles Billingsley who took 1st place all by himself (over 24 lbs), with John Tumminello and John Bolster taking 2nd place with 19 lbs, and John Byrd and Steve Fant with 17 lbs. 4th through 7th places were separated by an ounce or so.

We meet tonight at 6:00 at West End Grill, and fish this Saturday at Logan Martin. This is always our best tournament with almost everyone weighing in limits of fish. We will launch from Clear Creek Marina. Come join us tonight when we draw for partners.

Attached is the updated points summary for January. We had 9 boats and 60 degree weather and no wind. Only thing missing were the fish. Congrats to Logan Coan / Stacey Hamner with a 6.64 lb. Largemouth and 1st place, and to Steve Fant / Neal Machek for 2.71 lb fish for 2nd place. That's all folks!!!!!

We have 8 boaters Saturday for Pickwick. 60 degree weather predicted and turnout is better than usual for January!
