Unpopular belief: Sustainability is earned through unsustainable effort.
If you’re afraid to try because “it’s not sustainable” you’ve gotten really good at protecting your ego.
I’m all for routine, a healthy lifestyle, and workouts that fit into a busy life but DAMN -
I know for a fact your best term paper was written 3 days before it was due.
And that You organized your house the week before the big party you’ve had planned for 6 weeks!!
Pressure produces focus, forces decisions, and prioritizes our actions.
So what if you can’t dedicate 72 hours every week to organizing your house! You still reaped benefits past the party.
I know many can’t sustain 20 sessions in 30 days for a lifetime but are you srsly unwilling to try because you’re gonna only get 18 or 16?
Are you telling me you won’t benefit internally and externally from pushing yourself into those 16 or 18?
…That the drive to prioritize yourself won’t push you into a sustainable better in the long haul?????
Get outta here!
is unapologetically what it is - PRESSURE.
It’s hard.
Rents due. Step into the arena. Succeed or fail under fire. Both are better than protecting your ego.

Winners quit … the right things… all the time.
It might be a temporary quit or a permanent one but any new big ass goal requires time, energy, bandwidth.
Our most beloved challenge begins September 1 (members email coming Thursday!) - THE .
It requires 20 in studio sessions in 30 days.
Every FINISHER gets a prize (I gotta special one this year 🥳 too!!!) and it’s not because I believe participation requires an automatic reward.
It’s because CONSISTENCY is hard AF.
You have a career. You have active and involved children. You are needed every day and all the time.
The challenges you to
- ask for help (you’re not great at that)
- say no to staying up too late or that second glass of wine that will make you feel like 💩 in the morning
- pack your bag to train after work when all you wanna do is veg.
And yet - the - remains the event our humans get the most excited about.
ITS HARD.
But it’s structured. It aligns with how much they value getting stronger and it provides “the excuse” they’ve been waiting for to PUT THEMSELVES back on the priority list.
If you’re not a member we will have a special 30 day pass for you so stay tuned and I want everyone to start thinking …
What will you need to quit in order to have room to succeed???

I get it, you’re not “done” but don’t forget…
As far as you still want to go, you’re already standing where someone else wishes they could be.

Who believed in you before you believed in yourself?
As a high school teacher, I often had to nudge capable students into my advanced level classes because they couldn’t yet see what I could see in them.
I’ve been on the other side of that, too.
This place wouldn’t exist without my husband literally DRAGGING me through my fears. My coach matter of factly states next steps I’ve not yet even thought could be in my realm of possibilities.
Sometimes, it’s someone else’s belief that gives us the courage to believe in ourselves.
So think about it:
Who planted a seed in you? And who might need you to plant one in them?
This has been on my mind a good so I went old school and blogged. (🔗 in the profile)
In retrospect, this is the spirit I want for Book Your Bestie 2026.
Truth be told I know our members rarely need a work out partner per say but I do know many of y’all were so scared to walk into our doors because …
“I’m not strong enough.”
“I’m too old to be new at something.”
“I’m gonna look like an idiot”
But a bestie said, you got this and I’ll be there the whole time. I gotchu.
And that small nudge ended being a catalyst for transformation.
You’re stronger, healthier, and feeling more alive because someone else carried the belief before you were ready.
Pay it forward 😘🖤

“Gross, I don’t want to look like you.” My response…⬇️⬇️
Don’t worry. You never will. 🎤
The idea that having visible muscle, obvious definition, and lots of vascularity was an accident that happened because I walked into the gym 3-4 days a week w a loosely constructed “arm day/leg day” plan and a roughly 80/20 diet is laughable.
If you don’t want to look like me, you’re in luck! Because this was a 365 day all in effort in the gym and in the kitchen for YEARS.
Hon, if this is gross to you, I’m okay with that too. The only person that has to love this body is me.
But if you’re not lifting weights out of fear that you don’t have a say so as to how jacked you get, girl you’re completely wrong…
AND this likely why you’re missing out on results you’re hunting down by “losing 10 more lbs” again. 🙄
The women we coach at sweat, they aren’t looking to replicate what I’m doing.
They love muscle. They love how it makes them feel. They know they’re strong and resilient and they want their physique to say that too.
They love adventures and they love knowing they can say YES to every opportunity bc their bodies are capable.
If that’s you PLEASE stop approaching training fearful of “accidental muscle mass” 😂😂
Every woman who’s ever transformed on any level will tell you the work and effort behind every new line they willed into existence.
Lift. Challenge yourself in the gym. Have fun creating exactly what YOU want to see. sweatlocal is here to educate and guide YOUR journey 😘
