📣SHOUTOUT to Coach Candice for giving the Alabama A&M University Cheerleaders FOUR Intense Days of training, conditioning, education, accountability, and truth. You didn’t just train them... you showed them what the WORK looks like. You reminded them that Health is Wealth and that discipline is a lifestyle, not something you turn on when someone is watching.

🙏🏽But what happened after our Day 3 session is something I’ll never forget. After pouring everything you had into our athletes, you received the call that your son had been involved in a serious car accident. What could have been a devastating phone call became a TESTIMONY OF GOD’S GRACE. Your son walked away!

🙌🏽And you still came back the next day and finished strong. We DO NOT take that lightly. Thank you for everything! We are grateful for you, your work, and most of all, the reminder that GOD STILL HAS THE FINAL SAY.

NAME: Addisyn McCall .carlyn
HOMETOWN: Columbus, OH
POSITION: 2025-2026 Captain/Backspot
MAJOR: B.S. Biology 🎓

🗣When Addisyn first arrived on The Hill, she was one of the quietest girls in the room. Soft spoken, reserved, and humble; but underneath that quiet spirit was a young woman full of heart, discipline, and untapped leadership potential.

Over the years, we watched her evolve into exactly the kind of leader every team needs. Not the loudest person in the room, but the one who leads through example, reliability, grace, and genuine love for her teammates. Addisyn became someone others could depend on, someone who carried herself with maturity and purpose both on and off the mat.

This week, Addisyn will cross the stage earning her Bachelor of Science in Biology. She plans to continue her education by pursuing her Master’s degree while gaining hands on research and clinical experience as she prepares for a future career in medicine. Her journey is proof that quiet strength can still leave a powerful impact.

One of her favorite memories was cheering in the Magic City Classic Parade. Representing Alabama A&M with pride while creating unforgettable moments with her teammates. From spontaneous dance moves to the electric energy of the crowd, those moments became memories that will last a lifetime.

Addisyn, thank you for allowing this program to witness your growth. Watching you blossom into the woman and leader you are today has been one of the greatest rewards as a coach. Your journey reminds us that leadership is not always about volume, it’s about presence, consistency, and heart.

MAJOR: B.S. Marketing 🎓

🗣Kenyia’s journey on The Hill has been defined by growth and the kind of leadership that speaks without needing attention. Even after stepping away from the mat during her senior year, Kenyia’s impact and presence within this program never left. The legacy she built across her three years on AAMU Cheer will always be a part of this team.

As a coach, one of the most rewarding things is watching a young woman fully step into her power. This week, Kenyia will cross the finish line with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and plans to return to Atlanta to pursue opportunities in Marketing while obtaining her real estate license. With goals of eventually earning her MBA.

Some of her favorite memories came from the intensity of battling ASU during basketball season, but beyond the performances, it was the sisterhood that meant the most. From Daytona, team dinners to the bonds created off the mat, those moments became part of the foundation that shaped her experience.

Kenyia, thank you for being coachable and being the standard you carried. You have grown into a powerful young woman, and it has been an honor to coach you through this chapter.

MAJOR: B.S. Business Management & Marketing 🎓

🗣Nia's moment is bigger than a degree. It’s about resilience, endurance, and most importantly, unwavering love. Behind Nia’s journey is a circle who refused to let her give up. Through health challenges, setbacks, and moments that could have easily taken her off course, she stood firm, she pushed, she prayed, and she made sure she kept going, no matter what!

This week, Nia will cross the finish line. As a former captain, Nia leaves behind a legacy of leadership, grace, and perseverance. And now she steps into her next chapter, pursuing a career in Marketing with a passion for Brand Development and Digital Strategy.

Her story is a reminder that sometimes the strength behind you is what carries you through. We are proud and grateful for her time on the Hill and will ALWAYS have your back 💋
