The Huntsville Astros are proud to officially announce Coach Terry Mason Sr. as the new Head Coach of our professional football team.

Coach Mason brings a winning tradition, championship experience, and an unwavering commitment to athlete development. A respected leader on and off the field, Coach Mason has built a reputation for discipline, integrity, and excellence throughout his coaching career. From his years as a decorated high school and semi-pro coach to his recent success as a professional coordinator, Coach Mason has consistently inspired greatness in the athletes he leads.

Under his leadership, the Winterboro High School track team captured three state championships, and his offensive strategies helped elevate multiple programs to new levels of competition and professionalism. His passion for the game, deep roots in Alabama, and dedication to mentoring young men make him the ideal choice to lead the Astros into this next era.

Coach Mason shared,

“I’m honored and humbled to be named the Head Coach of the Huntsville Astros. This opportunity is a blessing, and I don’t take it lightly. I’m here to build a culture of hard work, accountability, and winning. I’m grateful for every stop along my journey especially Winterboro, where I grew into the coach I am today. I’m ready to give this city everything I’ve got and bring a championship mindset to Huntsville.”
