I’m very proud of both of these young ladies. Rock Stars!!!

We were looking over recent stats and realized two of our pitchers reached a milestone that deserves to be celebrated.

500+ career 10U strikeouts 😱🤯

What’s even more impressive is that they couldn’t be more different as pitchers, and that’s exactly what makes them such a great duo.

Mykah overpowers hitters with velocity and has one of the strongest arms you’ll find in 10u. You can hear teams talking about her as soon as they pull into the park. Layla wins with command, movement, and keeping hitters off balance. Different styles, but they both have the same commitment to getting better every single day.

Five hundred strikeouts isn’t just about talent. It’s the amount of work they put in to get there!

It’s countless hours in the backyard.
Bullpens before or after practice.
Extra lessons.
Working through tough outings.
Bouncing back from losses.
Learning to trust their defense.
Building confidence one pitch at a time.

As coaches, we’re incredibly proud of what they’ve accomplished, but we’re even more proud of the young ladies they’re becoming. They compete, they work hard, they’re coachable, and they’re great teammates.

Congratulations to Mykah Parker and Layla Myrick on an incredible milestone. We can’t wait to see what comes next as we begin the next chapter in 11U.

This marks the fourth straight 10U season she has reached 100 strikeouts—an accomplishment that shows just how consistent and hardworking she is.

Layla is all business in the circle, hitting her spots and pitching with incredible control. We are so proud of her and can’t wait to see what she accomplishes next!
