Registration for the 2026 is now open. Schedule for July 4, 2026. Let’s kick it off. There is a 7.4 mile, 7.4 kilometer and a fun run option. Something for everyone.

Did you know your medal is also a coaster? Don’t want to take it off the ribbon and off your rack? Wish you could have one or two for your coffee table? The staff at the and want to give you that opportunity. Starting Wednesday December 17th you can go by and grab what you want and get your last minute Christmas gifts for your favorite runner. AWARDS AWARDS AWARDS update…..all AWARDS will be delivered to Fleet Feet Huntersville on Wednesday and will be there until Christmas. You can go during normal business hours. Please be patient while they may be with another customer. They love this race and love the local running community.

We recommend picking your packet up early to avoid any delays in your arrival to the start line.

Online and in person registration will remain open until the events start. See you the next few days.

Volunteers needed!

Water stop #3!

Location: Rosedale neighborhood at intersection of streets Dellstone and Cherry Meadow Dr.

Time: 7:55am - 9:15am

We need at least 4 people to man this water stop on the half marathon course! Volunteer hours are given! Perfect for teenagers or a club!

You can drive and park right there at the water stop!
Please go to list website/volunteer link and sign up asap! We need you!

Thank you HPD. Please thank your local police officers when you pass them on the course. They really look out and support your race.

PREVIEW RUN —— 7:30 am at in Birkdale village. Get there a bit early so we can leave on time. Please come prepared. The course is painted but is unsupported. No police, no water, no volunteers etc. I’ll have printed maps in the morning if needed. See you in the morning.

2025 medals are on the ground ready to go around your neck or under your favorite beverage. We will have extras available if you want to be able to hang one but also be able to use one as a coaster. You can see the actual medal if you visit our friends at in Birkdale Village.

We are already talking about 2026 after all the great feedback we got at the expo last week. We are always open to feedback from our supporters.

here at the huntersville half. We pride ourselves on always providing a solid medal for all events we host. We got a ton of feedback this weekend at the expo. We will take all the feedback moving into future years and continue to strive for the perfect race medal. This year’s medals are commemorative 15 year anniversary medals. They double as coasters. If you don’t want to pull yours off the ribbon we will have extras for sale after you finish. We are still waiting for the delivery but these are what you are looking at. Thank you for always coming through with making our ideas come to life.
