Your 2026 Summer League Champions, Mandatory Fun!

Captain Jacob Pucci's Mandatory Fun didn't have a TON of fun until the playoffs as their first two wins of the season came in the semifinals and championship, but it was worth the wait. MF fought through a puddled rink in the semis, and the scorching sun in the finals to bring home the title.

Congrats to Pucci, Joe Huber, Andrea Bejenari, AJ Voss, Hayden Drake, Chris Ward, Eric Gussin, and Rich Wall, along with the not pictured AJ Leshock, AJ Yasav, and Kevin Blessington!

Congratulations to Captain James Borusso and Mid Ice Crisis for winning our second annual Red, White and Blue tournament!

Also congrays to Jon Goldin, Rich Wall, Jayden Steckler, Kendall Kerr, Luke Dobbs, Jenny O'handly, and Karson Steckler for winning the tourney!

This tournament was held for James Forbes who is playing for Team USA's Legends at the World Championships in Černošice, Czechia, from July 28 to August 1, 2026. CSHL raised $1,600 from the RWB tournament to put towards his travels.

A second CSHLer, Sarah Cuozzo, is playing for Team USA on the Women's Legends Team at the World Championships. CSHL has also matched this amount to bring her GoFundMe proceeds up to $1,600.

Congratulations to Forbes and Sarah and good luck in two weeks!

Jerseys will be available for purchase on the USA Ball Hockey website at some point this week, CSHL will share the purchase links when available.

CSHL is looking for a new Board Secretary!

Our current Board Secretary, Mike LaFond, organizes everything regarding our bi-weekly executive board meetings including (but not limited to) preparing agendas, recording minutes, and sending all CSHL-related correspondence to board members.

This position is a GREAT way to see how CSHL operates behind the scenes. LaFond is also moving back north, so we are looking to fill this position ASAP!!!

Recently, Sarah was selected to compete internationally in ball hockey for the Women's USA Legends team. This incredible opportunity will take her to Czechia this summer, where she will represent both our local league and the USA Legends team. Sarah's commitment to improving her game and ensuring everyone around her has fun is what makes her such a special part of our community.

We are raising funds to help offset the cost of Sarah's travel so she can make the most of this once-in-a-lifetime experience. Congrats to Prestige Worldwide for winning the B Division in this weekends 3v3 Ball Hockey in Apex, NC on their new outdoor rinks! This tournament was a fundraiser for Colleen Murphy, Katherine Murphy, and Bailey Horne who are competing in the 2026 World Championships in Ostrava, Czechia for Team USA later this summer.

Prestige Worldwide went on a undefeated run winning all 5 of their games by a combined 12-1 scoring margin. Special congrats to captain Jayden Steckler and MVP Cole Heslin 🏆
