We are so proud of Maya and CH Princess Lara. This was Maya’s very first time showing in Freedom Hall, and she performed beautifully. CH Princess Lara looked absolutely phenomenal, and together they made such a beautiful show.
Unfortunately, CH Princess Lara was NOT a fan of how long that reverse and walk took. 😂 She was ready to GO, and that animated walk proved to be more costly on a pair of cards than we ever expected in an otherwise stunning performance.
This team has continued to thrive with every performance together, with wins at Lexington Junior League, Shenandoah, Asheville Spring and Ocala, along with Reserve Championships at Asheville and JD Massey.
But more than any ribbon or any win, we absolutely love this very special horse. CH Princess Lara is truly one of a kind, and we feel so incredibly fortunate and honored to have her in our barn. She has given us so much to be proud of, and there is just something about her that makes you love her even more. She lives to show, she lives to GO, and we wouldn’t change that about her.
Next year, this team will be back — and they are ready to step up and GO! It’s time to canter, there’s no more holding CH Princess Lara back, and both Lara and Maya are ready to step up and let her do what she loves. We can’t wait to see what these two can do when they get to GO!
Maya has evolved into such a wonderful rider, and she is ready for this next step. She rode beautifully in her first trip into Freedom Hall, CH Princess Lara looked incredible, and we couldn’t be more proud of this team. 💙
