Here are some tips to improve your team’s body language:
1st culture opportunity - Have your players create their own personalized failure recovery plan on notecards ✍️
(or snap back plan). You could even get them rubber bands to wear on their wrist to “snap back” to the present moment.”
➡️ le: “Breathe in confidence, breathe out stress and nerves, next play, l’ve got this.”
Have them try this a few times, then create their own version. Then set up stations where they practice it weekly. ✅
Hitting in the cage with opposite grip, or opposite-hand fungo 🥎 Every time they miss, they pick up their failure
recovery plan and do it. Goal is to keep emotions in line with their goals until the game is OVER.
Juggling, spinning a basketball, or writing with their opposite hand - anything they aren’t good at.
We feel the energy of those within 20 feet of us 🔥 Teams
with good body language tend to play more free and in the moment, in our opinion. By sitting them for an inning or two, it helps these players tighten their mind. They are worthy of being held to high standards.
