Avoidant relationships can leave you constantly trying to interpret the evidence.

They show up in some ways, pull back in others, and you’re left asking: Are they actually invested in this relationship?

There are signs worth paying attention to. But noticing their effort isn’t the same as accepting a relationship that doesn’t meet your needs.

The bigger question is what they’re willing to do with that investment.

I break down 5 signs in my full video.

Comment SIGNS and I’ll send you the link or click the link in bio.

You blow up at the people you love most, then rush to make them feel better.

Deep empathy next to explosive fear and control is loud disorganized attachment. The tell is what comes after, when you caretake instead of apologising, and the shame that follows is part of it.

Save this if you recognise yourself.

Are you in a relationship right now where you’re waiting and waiting on love that isn’t coming? Let me know.

The novels and the reality shows pull your sexual energy out of the bedroom.

It feels like harmless fun, and it still spends that energy somewhere your marriage never sees. Take those fantasies to your spouse and build them together, because investing them elsewhere is its own cheating.

Save this and start that conversation.

Real conversations are messy. People get defensive. You say something badly. They take it differently than you meant it. You lose your train of thought or realize halfway through that you’re arguing about something else entirely.

So for our next live Demo, we’re showing you what repair actually looks like when there’s another person in the room.

On September 30th, you’ll watch a repair conversation happen in real time. You’ll see where it gets difficult, what can derail it, and how to find your way back when it does.

“Providing” isn’t just a financial matter.

A man should also provide structure, predictability, protection, leadership, and the confidence that someone capable is helping carry the weight of the family.

The result should be more freedom for the people he loves, not more control over them.

The intensity of a hot-and-cold relationship can make it difficult to understand what’s actually happening.

They pursue you when you pull away, retreat when you move closer, then return with enough affection to make the connection feel powerful all over again.

That cycle can easily be mistaken for extraordinary chemistry when the intensity may actually be coming from the constant shift between closeness and distance.

If you’ve witnessed this dynamic, share it down below!

You close the book and your husband looks like a disappointment.

Those fictional men have no job pulling at them and they read the female character’s mind, so she never had to ask for anything. Real men cannot do that, so say what you need out loud and let your husband step up.

Save this as a reminder to communicate.

Everyone keeps score in their marriage, including you.

The way out is to practice gratitude, focus on what they did right today, and did you thank them for it? You also have to decide that they care about you, or your head writes the story that they do not.

A lot of people with ADHD have spent years being told they’re careless, difficult, lazy, or simply not trying hard enough.

But ADHD can show up in ways that are easy to misread. Perfectionism. People-pleasing. Losing focus during an important conversation. Struggling to follow through even when you genuinely care. And sometimes, those patterns can start creating real problems in your relationships.

Steven Storage, M.D. and I talked about what ADHD actually looks like, where it can overlap with attachment and other mental health concerns, how medication fits into treatment, and why a diagnosis should never become a reason to believe you’re stuck.
