JOAD is always a great time!
This last JOAD/AAP session was a full line, which is a great time to remind members about lane reservations!
Please remember to reserve your member lane, you get priority if we fill up and you learn ahead of time if it’s okay to come in 😎

A huge thank you to Jens Fudge for generously donating copies of his books Choose to Be a Winner and Process Over Points to our Academy library.
Jens knows a thing or two about performing under pressure. A Paralympic gold medalist, as well as a European, Nordic and Danish champion, he has gone on to become a highly respected mental-performance coach in archery, working with athletes from developing archers through Olympic, World and national-level competitors.
His books explore something we believe deeply in at X10: great archery is about much more than shooting a good score. Choose to Be a Winner examines mental training, visualization, confidence, focus and competition preparation, while his newest book, Process Over Points, teaches archers how to handle pressure, nerves, overthinking and those inevitable bad shots by bringing their attention back to what they can actually control... the process.
These will be fantastic resources for our athletes and coaches as we continue developing not just better archers, but stronger, more self-aware competitors.
Thank you, Jens, for sharing your experience and knowledge with the X10 community. We’re honored to have your work on our shelves. 🎯📚

This week we’re wrapping up the last summer camp of the season!
Coach Kat gave everyone a taste of recurve, compound, and even olympic recurve, as well as giving pointers and making sure the kids all had a great time 😎
Remember, JGAP starts up again Tuesday August 18th, be there!

It was a busy, busy back to school event this morning at HISD’s Delmar Sports Complex! With over 2,500 kids in attendance, Coach Russ had plenty of prospective archers ask questions about our PE credit program, the NASP program, and our own programs here at X10 Archery Academy!
Thank you so much to Houston ISD for having us at this event and for all the support provided in the Houston community. 🥹🫶
