Happy Father’s Day from The Achieving Academy.
Today, we honor the fathers, father figures, and men who show up with love, guidance, protection, and strength.
A strong father presence can shape confidence, character, stability, and the way young people see themselves and the world around them. So today, we pause to recognize the men who lead, support, teach, provide, encourage, and keep showing up.
To the dads doing their best, the father figures making a difference, and the men pouring into the next generation — we see you, and we thank you.
Wishing you a meaningful and well-deserved Father’s Day.

Juneteenth is a day to acknowledge the past, reflect on how far we’ve come, and stay honest about how much work is still left to do.
Freedom was delayed. Equality is still uneven. And many of the same systems that harmed us then still show up in different ways now.
At The Achieving Academy, we recognize Juneteenth not just as a moment of remembrance, but as a reminder to keep pushing for change, equity, opportunity, and truth.
We honor the resilience of those who came before us — and we stay committed to doing our part, because the work is not done.

Behind the scenes at The Achieving Academy…
This is what building Life Skills 101 looks like right now: design, testing, adjusting, rebuilding, and making sure the online program actually feels easy to move through.
Today’s focus: the progress bar experience.
Sounds small, but it matters. If students can see where they are, how far they’ve come, and what’s left, the program feels less overwhelming and more doable.
Yes, I’m an accountant — a Controller to be exact. But the way my multipotential, ADHD, neurodivergent, TBI brain works… some days you’d swear I was a systems analyst, UX tester, curriculum designer, and developer all in one. 😅 (and low-key.. I am.)
I’m building this myself because the details matter.
The flow matters.
The experience matters.
And the students who will use this deserve something that is clear, practical, and thoughtfully built.
Life Skills 101 is coming next month.
Real life skills. Real-world learning. Designed with intention.

It's WWYD Wednesday with a twist... or as we call it... WWYS (what would you say) Wednesday.
If you could sit down with your younger self for just 5 minutes, what would you warn them about?
Not just “save your money.”
What would you really say?
Would you warn them about:
* moving too fast with the wrong people?
* ignoring red flags?
* wasting money trying to impress folks?
* not taking school, work, or credit seriously soon enough?
* settling for survival mode instead of building a real plan?
Parents, this one’s for you too:
What advice would you give your younger self with the knowledge you have now?
Drop one thing below. Somebody younger might need to read it.
