19 Weeks of Resurrection – Week 11

This week, the brothers of Rho Beta Beta returned to the boys’ home we first visited during Week 1, continuing our commitment to mentorship, fellowship, and investing in the next generation.

Over breakfast, we spent time reconnecting with eight young men, discussing life, school, sports, and everything that’s happened since our last visit. The conversations were honest, engaging, and a reminder that meaningful impact often begins with simply showing up and listening.

Of course, no visit would be complete without a little competition. The day concluded with a spirited 2-on-2 basketball showdown, where Team Dawgs managed to escape with a narrow victory and bragging rights for the day.

Before departing, we reflected on a lesson far greater than the final score. We talked about the wins and losses we all experience in life and the importance of passing down knowledge, wisdom, and guidance to those coming behind us. Every conversation, every lesson, and every moment of mentorship helps equip the next generation to navigate their own journey with confidence and purpose.

The resurrection continues—one relationship, one lesson, and one life at a time.

Week 9 of our 19 Weeks of Resurrection service initiative was a success!

The Rho Beta Beta Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. extends its sincere gratitude to Tuscany Village Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center for allowing us the opportunity to serve its residents through our Week 9 Initiative.

A special thank you goes to the 2020, 2022, and 2025 Lines of Rho Beta Beta for their support, generosity, and commitment in helping make this effort possible.

On behalf of the ALL-2020 Line — 19 Sons of Resurrection, we were honored to collect and donate essential items designed to bring comfort, engagement, and joy to the residents. Donations included toiletries, games, socks, blankets, hair products, and writing and art supplies.

Service remains at the heart of our mission, and we are grateful to everyone who contributed to this initiative. Together, we continue to make a meaningful impact in our community through our 4th Annual 19 Weeks of Resurrection (Service) Initiative.

Week 8 is going great! Our Free Fitness Bootcamp partnered with Amped Fitness Westbury was a huge success. Thank you to our chapter brother .zaytiggy for leading the instruction. The sweat, laughs, and pain were in abundance.

Today, we wrap up Week 6 of the 19 Weeks of Resurrection campaign. Today we have a free and open financial discussion for the community. We should all be making smart decisions in this economy. Get the tips from a professional! Real time thoughts and advice about how to move smart in this current economy. The first 300 guests will be admitted. We can’t wait to grow together with you.

Week 3 of the 19 Weeks of Resurrection was a success!

On Saturday, May 16, 2026, the 19 Sons of Resurrection partnered with Trinity East United Methodist Church to serve over 60 families through our community food pantry outreach. From groceries to household essentials, we were honored to be a blessing to families across Houston.

Thank you to every volunteer, donor, and supporter who helped make this day impactful. We’re committed to continuing the work of service, restoration, and community uplift—one week at a time.
