GB’s final game of the WBSC Women’s Baseball World Cup group stage ends in defeat to Chinese Taipei.

Despite the losses, this was a tournament of many historic firsts for British women’s baseball.

After a delayed start to the tournament today marks the end of the WBSC Women’s World Cup Tainan group stage. GB will take to the field one more time when they face Chinese Taipei at 2pm BST for their fifth game in three days.

GB Women fought right to the end but fell 7-4 to Cuba in this morning's WBSC Women's Baseball World Cup group stage game.

Next up is the final game of the tournament against Chinese Taipei at 2pm BST.

Tomorrow we go again! GBWNT will face Cuba at 6am BST on Thursday in Tainan.

GB fell 6-2 to the Philippines in their second game of the day in Taiwan. Next up is Cuba tomorrow morning at 6am before they complete their tournament against Chinese Taipei at 2pm

GB will face Philippines in Game 3 of the Women's Baseball World Cup Group Stage at 11am BST.

Weather permitting, GB are scheduled to face Japan at 5am BST (12 noon local) tomorrow followed by Philippines at 11am BST in Games 2 and 3 of the WBSC Women's Baseball World Cup Group Stage

After two and a half days of rain delays, play finally got underway at the WBSC Women’s Baseball World Cup Qualifiers in Tainan, Taiwan.

Laura Hirai was handed the ball as the starting pitcher for Great Britain’s historic debut at the Women’s Baseball World Cup.

Darier Malone scored GB’s first-ever World Cup run on an attempted pickoff, but sadly GBWNT fell 9-2 to Venezuela in the shortened five-inning game.
