Alliance Fencing Academy

Important update to Saturday practice schedule in Alliance Houston location regarding Y8 and Y12/14 age groups. These changes will only be taking place in the Houston location!

1. Youth 8 Class: This class is moving to Fridays from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM. Fencers who are 7 and 8 years old and have full fencing equipment are welcome to join the Saturday Youth 10 practice from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM.

2. Youth 12–14 Competitive Practice: The practice time has changed and will now be from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

3. Cadet, Junior, Adult, and Senior Competitive Practice: The practice time remains the same: 1:30 PM to 4:00 PM.

Tyler Evans, a Team USA pentathlete training at Alliance, will be competing at the UIPM Pentathlon World Championships in Guiyang, China this week! Please wish him good luck as he represent USA on the world’s biggest stage!

Many of our Alliance fencers and Coach Andrey took part in a fencing camp in Japan this August, where they had the opportunity to fence Olympic gold medalist Kano Koki, and get a taste of Japanese culture. We hope to come back next summer!

We’re less than a week away from World Championships!

We are immensely proud of our five fencers who qualified. They will be representing their nations at the most competitive event of the year and vying for the senior world champion titles! 🤺🤺🤺

What more can we say? Alliance killed it at the 2026 Summer Nationals! Congrats to our coaches and fencers on making great results happen time and time again!
