Lamar State College Port Arthur Men’s Basketball is proud to announce the signing of Cole Doucet from Sulphur High School (Louisiana)!

The 6'3" guard joins the Seahawks after an outstanding high school career, averaging 18 points, 4 rebounds, and 2 assists per game. Cole's accomplishments include being named District MVP, scoring over 3,000 career points, and earning LHSAA All-Star honors.

A dynamic playmaker with the ability to score, facilitate, and lead, Cole brings a competitive mindset and winning attitude to our program. We are excited to see the impact he will make both on and off the court as a Seahawk.

Blood drive Tuesday June 23rd in front of Freshman campus gym for our very own Hayden.

We were working on getting the parking lot drained, so that people did not have to walk in the water to get to the gym…Ms Kaylee (not sure of spelling) from Vinton saw a need and had resources to help. Within 30 minutes, with her help, we had a 19 year drainage problem fixed. So grateful for kind/helpful people!
if you’re looking for some entertainment on this Tuesday, rainy afternoon/evening… come catch some great competitive basketball at Sulphur Freshman Campus… no rain in this gym.
