Aligning with local and national builders as well as local homeless service agencies, HomeAid has created a unique approach to completing housing projects for today’s homeless.
The process of a HomeAid Houston project begins with identifying a local homeless care provider and determining their particular need, possibly building a cottage to serve abused children, remodeling existing facilities to support disabled veterans, or simply gathering a group of volunteers to freshen up the campus’ landscaping.

HomeAid Heroes is a unique program that offers companies the opportunity to give back to the Houston community in a way that best suits their business. As a HomeAid Hero, the company decides how they would like to contribute!
Heroes can either donate a preset amount every time they celebrate a business milestone, whether it's the sale of a home, a window installation, closing of a mortgage, etc. or simply donate a certain amount each quarter or year.
Funds raised through the HomeAid Heroes program will go towards HomeAid Houston’s major construction or remodeling projects, both types of projects serve various homeless service providers in the community. Click here to learn more about HomeAid Houston’s current and completed projects.

We’re building a future without homelessness.
HomeAid® is a leading non-profit developer of housing and programmatic facilities for people experiencing or at risk of homelessness, operating through a network of 20 Affiliates in 17 states.
Some interesting history:
In 1989, a small (but passionate) grassroots group of individuals in the building industry began on a journey to tackle one of our nation’s biggest problems: homelessness.
Why? Because each and every day in communities across our country individuals and families are experiencing or at risk of homelessness, and they had a solution.
