Twin Oaks Aikido started as a group of Aikido friends picking up the pieces of their training after the pandemic by meeting in Spotts Park under a couple of oak trees. The dojo is now located inside the Gymnast Factory in Rice Village on Monday and Wednesday evenings (Friday mornings at 5:30 in Hermann Park in front of the reflecting pool). At Twin Oaks, we’re welcoming students back from summer vacation with a game of Aikido Bingo. Today we all fulfilled G18, which was 18 kata tori ikkyo. If we get Bingo, party in September!
