Cold Beer Lures

Thought we'd kill some time & head offshore on Saturday. I think it was the right decision.

Much slower day Saturday than the previous Saturday but after a 6 hour grind I hooked a few and was so happy to get them! And there's a story in there about one of the males thinking my freshly opened beer was eggs that needed fertilizing. Let's just say I don't waste beer. 😀🍺🍺🍺

Good to get back on the water! Solid day with white bass, ready to hit it again next weekend.

Beautiful camping New Year's weekend at GISP. The sunsets alone were worth the price of admission.

Good first run. Did some adjustments on the water then it was smooth sailing (ok, peddling) for a couple of hours. They travel well too. Now to get them in the salt!

Well, I think someone was good enough this year to score a new kick a$$ fishing yak from Santa! I got lucky too. Can't wait to try them out.

Finished up the last of the sheepshead & trout from last week in a stew with some wild duck. Made some turkey scrap rice to go along with it which was awesome. So good in fact I had to have a second round. Same goes for the whiskey. 😉
