Every great teacher starts as a student.
Today was a full-circle moment as I reunited with my middle school dance teacher and my high school drill team dance coach at HISD Fine Arts PD 🎭 . Their guidance helped shape the educator and choreographer that I am today.
Grateful for the mentors who poured into me, and excited to continue pouring into the next generation of dancers as the very FIRST dance teacher, pioneer, at a Fine Arts Magnet School and SSDA, creating the foundation for students for years to come. 🤩💃🏽
