🧵✨ STITCHING OUR STORY ✨🧵
A Meditation + Narrative Quilting Workshop
What if we could slow down, get quiet, and give our stories somewhere to land?
Join us at Lost Lotus Yoga for a special afternoon of movement, meditation, sound, and creative expression with Houston-based quilter and fourth-generation artist Sarah Ruth Morris of SARAH RUTH(lessly Handmade) 🌈
We’ll begin with simple grounding movements, a guided meditation + sound bath led by Lost Lotus owner Natasha Ponciano before settling into the creative process of making your own 8 × 12” narrative quilt with Sarah.
Quilting can be more than making something beautiful. The rhythmic, repetitive nature of handwork can help us slow down, focus, and return to the present moment—while giving us a tangible way to explore the stories, memories, and pieces of ourselves we carry.

WELCOME CARO TO OUR SQUAD. ✨🌿
Caro believes yoga is about so much more than movement, it’s an opportunity to reconnect with yourself. After discovering yoga following a knee injury, she learned to replace perfection with presence and self-judgment with self-trust. 💫
Her classes blend strength, mindful movement, and intentional breathwork to create an inclusive space where everybody and every experience level is welcome. Whether you’re looking to build resilience, reconnect with yourself, or simply enjoy moving, Caro hopes you’ll leave class feeling stronger and reminded that transformation begins from within. 🤍
CATCH CARO’S MAGIC for her first class Friday 5 pm and Saturday at 1 pm for her Full Body Flows. ✨

NEW TEACHER ALERT. ✨
has been an avid yogi for over a decade, and teaching has become a natural extension of that practice — a way to deepen her own understanding while helping others find what’s underneath the movement. She’s a 500-hour RYT with years of experience teaching all kinds of student populations, and that depth shows up in how she teaches. Expect accessible and purposeful classes: deliberate movement that challenges your strength, stability, and stamina, with plenty of room to breathe and just be present. 🌿
Ask her favorite pose and she won’t hesitate: anjaneyasana, the low lunge. To her, it’s grounding, presence, and balance, all in one shape. 🧘🏼♀️
💫 Whether you’re a regular, brand-new to yoga, or coming back after time away, Bethany meets you exactly where you are.
Catch her at the studio on Wednesday and Saturday mornings at 7 AM!

Yoga brings peaceful thoughts and meditative opportunities 🪷…
But we’ve all experienced moments in our practice where we find ourselves questioning “Why did I do this to myself?!”
These moments offer the opportunity to give your body a gentle push and show up for yourself, honestly and openly!
Although there may be moments of “What did I get myself into?” the feeling of peace and mindful connection that follow a flow make it all worth it! ✨🧘🏽♀️
Give your body the space to move, book now via ClassPass or the MindBody App!

May is Mental Health Awareness Month 🧘🏽♀️
The practice of yoga has many physical benefits, but did you know it can improve your mental health too?
Yoga can lower stress hormones, activating the parasympathetic nervous system which brings you out of the flight or fight stress response! It has also been shown to lower the effects of aging on our memory and cognition. 🧠🤍
Make time this month to find purposeful connection, take note of your emotions, and actively support your nervous system ✨💗
