Houston’s hockey community deserves a home one that’s affordable, accessible, inclusive, and built for every athlete.

That’s why the Houston Hockey Community is leading the effort to build Houston’s first nonprofit dual‑surface community rink, featuring a full ice sheet, a full roller/multi‑sport court, and full adaptive sports access. This facility will serve youth, adults, adaptive athletes, roller, ball, ice, and multi‑sport families across Greater Houston.

Over the years, Houston has seen organizations come and go, priorities shift, and support fade. But our mission hasn’t changed. We’re here to build something real, something lasting, and something that belongs to the community, not to any one group.

We welcome every organization, every player, every coach, and every family who believes in a future where hockey is open to everyone. And we’re moving forward with the partners and supporters who show up, contribute, and help make this vision possible.

This rink isn’t about politics. It’s about people.
It’s about kids who need a place to play.
It’s about adaptive athletes who deserve a home.
It’s about a community that refuses to give up on hockey.

Designed for players ages 7–10, this league is a great opportunity to build hockey skills, gain game experience, make new friends, and have fun on the rink. Whether your player is new to roller hockey or ready to continue developing their game, all skill levels are welcome!

Our rink is more than a space for roller hockey and skating—it’s a versatile, climate-controlled facility built to bring athletes and communities together. From wheelchair sports and team practices to tournaments, camps, clinics, and special events, there are many ways to make the space your own.

We welcome wheelchair sports organizations and adaptive recreation groups looking for an accessible indoor space to practice, compete, and connect.

🏒 Hockey is coming to the streets of La Porte!

Houston Hockey Community is excited to bring our NHL Street Hockey League back to Central Park for a fun-filled 6-week season. Whether your child is picking up a stick for the first time or already loves the game, this program is designed to make hockey fun, welcoming, and accessible for everyone.

Players will enjoy:
🏒 Basic hockey skills and game fundamentals
🤝 Team play and sportsmanship
⚡ Fast-paced games in a fun, encouraging environment
💪 Confidence-building through active play

No experience? No problem!
✅ Equipment is provided (nets, sticks, balls, and goalie gear)
👟 Just bring running shoes, a water bottle, and plenty of energy.
