This week, our very own Milaniakai Padilla was named the AAU Player of the Year! This is an incredibly prestigious honor, with many past recipients going on to become NCAA All-Americans, Olympians, and professional volleyball players.

Milaniakai is not only an exceptionally talented athlete, but her relentless work ethic, positive attitude, and humility are what make us the most proud. She also competed up an age division in the 18U AAU Pairs Championship, where she and her partner finished 2nd overall in the Gold Bracket!

This recognition is so well deserved, and we can’t wait to watch her continue to grow over the next two years before cheering her on at Stanford. Congratulations, Milaniakai! ❤️🏐

So many amazing finishes to celebrate for our Outrigger girls! 🤩

This week at AAU Club vs. Club, our athletes put together an incredible showing:

🥉 Open Division: 3rd place in Gold
🥇 Club Division: 1st place in Silver
🥇 Club Division: 1st place in Silver
🏅 Club Division: 5th place in Gold

We couldn’t be more proud of the effort, grit, and teamwork these girls showed all week long. Every team represented Outrigger with heart.

Now we’re in the middle of the AAU Pairs Championships, with Outrigger athletes competing across all the age divisions. Excited to keep the momentum going and finish the week strong! ❤️🤍

☀️ What a beautiful day! Nine wahine teams participated in the Duke Women’s Doubles Championship.
Congratulations to all our competitors, and a big shout out to first place team Bailey DeVos & Kaitlyn Malaney and second place team Pani Napoleon & Carmen Lo!

The Outrigger women’s beach volleyball program is strong and we love to see it!
