Safety starts with training.

Local 1 Hawaiʻi, CPWR and NABTU, recently held an EM 385 24-Hour Fall Protection course, providing members with the knowledge and skills to recognize, prevent, and control fall hazards on the jobsite while meeting EM 385-1-1 and OSHA requirements.

Throughout the course, members received hands-on instruction covering scaffold safety, personal fall arrest systems, hazard recognition, and safe work practices for elevated operations.

Investing in training means investing in our members. By continuing to build their skills and safety awareness, Local 1 Hawaiʻi is helping ensure every member has the tools to return home safely at the end of each workday.
