It’s been an amazing season with our littles! We had 6 young ladies under 17 racing with our women’s crew this season. We are so proud of them & excited for what’s yet to come! 🫶🏽

We joined our West Shore Canoe Family on Tribal Journey’s from Swinomish to Tulalip today.
Much needed healing on the water. We sang, we paddled, we laughed and had way to much fun. 🫶🏽
Thank you Uncle Antone, Cheryl Anne, Shawnee, Shayna & Russell. We are so thankful our first Journey experience was with our West Shore family.
It was an honor to pull into Grandma Vivian’s ~ Qwil-see-mia homelands together. One heart. One mind. One Prayer. One Paddle. We know she is beaming with pride knowing her grandchildren are crossing the waterways of our ancestors together. Keeping her legacy alive. 🙌🏾💚💜|🩶💚

The Lummi Nation School students came out of Bloedel to paddle with Rikkole Cree skipper Joseph Lee Johnson.
The canoe curriculum teaches our Youth about teamwork, discipline, leadership, and Nautsa Mot!! Paddling together~ one heart, one mind, and one paddle.
Thank you Joe for always giving back to our community and spirit of the canoe. And, most importantly, introducing the canoe way of life to these future paddlers! 🫶🏽
