Sargent, a 12 year old quarter horse arrived in July. We are not clear on his breed, so we did a DNA test on him and I will update you with the results! He stands around 15 hh. Sargent has been a wonderful addition to the team. He loves riding around the lower pastures! He loves our hay! He has found his forever home!

Summer 2026: Dear riders, volunteers, and friends- We just hosted five weeks of a fantastic summer horseback riding program. Children through adults had the opportunity to enjoy one of the most well kept and gorgeous stables in our area. This stables is truly unique because we own all of the animals on site. We know that people cannot afford to purchase or own horses truly. If you have a barn and pastures, then yes, that is the ideal situation. Outside of the ideal situation, your cost just became much greater. Affordability becomes the issue, and many people do not have opportunities for large amounts of funds to spend on a horse.
This summer mark's hour 25th anniversary! I am proud to say that I've been here from the beginning, and i'm sure I'll be here to the end. Through my strength and perseverance and continued upbeat positivism, this stables has grown into a wonderful place where all of us go to unwind and relax and enjoy the horses!
Thanks to all of you, I also had the best summer! See you in the Fall, with bells on, Warmly, Ms. Amy, the ponies, the horses, Abbey the cattle dog, the guinea foul, the chickens, and yes 8 cats on site to keep it all in-line!
P.S. I will be honoring Ms. Satia, Ms. Cece, Ms. Chloe, Mr. Jon, & Ms. Jordyn in upcoming posts! Best work group ever!!!! So blessed to have them here and helping us! I'm going to be posting for many weeks!!!

Summer program planning with Ms. Kara and showing off our new sweatshirts! Ms. Kara is a dedicated and loyal person to the horses, and all of us. Her experience with horses and people has made her a perfect match for us. She truly loves this farm and everything we do. Her heart is always in the right place. She is truly a rare diamond!!! This summer we wore the name LORD, on the back of our clothing so that we may honor him as the wonderful horse that he was. He lived at the stables for over fifteen years. And he helped literally thousands of people overcome their fear of riding. He loved his role as a therapeutic Horse, and yet he could also take an intermediate, advanced rider to the next level. Lord loved our cross country course and he loved being outside. Lord embraced nature. Lord knew his name and when you called him, he would come. We miss you LORD......From: The riders
