Thank You to Our Players and Community Partners!

We would like to thank all the players who gave their best at the Oxford Street Park – Back In Action handball event yesterday in Lawrence, Massachusetts.

Although the weather was not on our side, we still enjoyed competitive matches, strong camaraderie, and the opportunity to showcase big-ball handball at this highly visible location. Pedestrians and drivers were able to see handball being played on the newly revitalized courts and experience the energy of the sport firsthand.

We extend our sincere appreciation to City Councilor Jeovanny Rodriguez for his genuine support of Lawrence handball; State Representative Frank Moran for helping secure funding for this visible recreational space; and Mayor Brian DePeña for approving the project.

We also thank Martha Velez and Adderly Gonzalez for supporting the event, organizing the ribbon-cutting ceremony, and helping provide recreational opportunities for Lawrence residents.

These revitalized courts offer a welcoming place for residents ages 10 and older to enjoy handball, paddleball, and one-wall racquetball. We are grateful to everyone who helped make this celebration possible.
