As we head into the weekend, let’s focus on the topic of servant leadership.

Mark 9:35 ESV
“And he sat down and called the twelve. And he said to them, “If anyone would be first, he must be last of all and servant of all.”

Weekends are a wonderful time to wind down, but let’s also reflect on this: Some of the greatest work we can ever do is modeling servant leadership for our family, our kids, and passing that down our legacy. I challenge you to intentionally find ways to model servant leadership in your circle this weekend.

One of the clearest signs of secure leadership is the ability to develop people without feeling threatened by their growth.

👏 A person starts learning.
👏 Growing.

👏 Showing leadership qualities.

And instead of being cultivated… they sometimes become viewed as competition.

John the Baptist understood something many leaders still struggle with today:

Leadership with stewardship is not threatened by growth happening around it.

This week, we spent a lot of time talking about accountability.

Not just in leadership roles or organizations—but in ourselves.

And one thing became very clear:

Growth without accountability rarely lasts.

Real leadership requires honesty.
Ownership.
Humility.
The willingness to learn, adjust, and continue growing over time.

Hebrews 12:11 says:

“For the moment all discipline seems painful rather than pleasant, but later it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it.”

That verse matters because accountability rarely feels comfortable while we’re experiencing it.

Yet some of the strongest growth people experience in life comes through the moments that challenge them, correct them, and force them to grow honestly.

At Heavenly Resolve, we believe leadership development is deeper than performance or position.
