Tutu School in New Orleans offers ballet for kids 6 months to 8 years.

Tutu School is a boutique-style ballet school that caters specifically to children 6 months to 8 years-old. Our mission is simple: We believe that exposing children at the earliest possible age to creativity, movement, and classical music will only serve them well in whatever they choose to do with their lives, that dancing like swans and Sugar Plum Fairies not only exercises little bodies but also nurtures big imaginations, and that twirling should be a fundamental part of any childhood.

Our Ballet Storytime curriculum is more than just a story! ⬇️
Everytime we turn to a new page we encourage dancers to use their imagination to act out the scene they are reading!
✨ Child Development Insight: Imagination and the ability to act out what they are reading creates groundwork for literacy skills like comprehension, emotional growth, and critical thinking!
