Liberty Youth Baseball

Liberty Youth Baseball Liberty Youth Baseball is a volunteer-run nonprofit serving K-8 students in the Liberty High School boundary.

As JBO Westside League members, we offer Spring and Fall seasons focused on teaching fundamentals and teamwork to players of all skill levels. Liberty Youth baseball (JBO) is for K-8th graders living in the Liberty High School attendance boundary. These teams play in the Junior Baseball of Oregon league in the Midget, Junior, and Senior levels from April thru July. T-ball/coach pitch and junior midget kids ages pre-K through 2nd grade play in a local league from April thru the end of the school year.

Liberty Senior National Player of the week: Joey. Joey doesn't know how to go halfway. He goes hard, or he doesn't go at all. Every throw is his hardest, every swing is for the fences. Joey is fairly new to baseball but his dedication has taken him far. His arm is valuable on the pitching mound, and for the long throws in from the outfield. Keep going full speed Joey!

Our Liberty senior national final player of the Spring season: Thor. Thor is a devastating pitcher for the other team to have to face. His curve ball will have you lurching and swinging like a fool. His fast ball will go right by you if you're not ready for it. And at the plate, watch out if Thor gets ahold of one! Your outfielders are going to be running after his hits when he makes solid contact. Thor strikes fear into the other team's heart!

Apologies for the delay as we finish out last season Senior National Spotlight. This weeks player of the week is Charlie l.
Charlie is a player who loves the game, and it shows. He puts in time outside of practice to work on his skills, and he always has his game face on when we play! He has a wicked arm at shortstop and on the mound. He hit so many doubles this season, we lost count! Charlie, keep giving it your all and you will go far!
