Ladies and Gentlemen, introducing the second winner of the new HPT STUDENT ATHLETE OF THE WEEK AWARD - Cole Rouse

The HPT SAW Award receives weekly nominations from area Athletic Directors, (one male and one female per school) based on performances and achievements of the previous week of competition. All nominees are then ranked by a panel and the highest scoring nominee will win the weekly award. Cole follows in the footsteps of Wesleyan's Donovan Calhoun who won the first ever award last week. And Wesleyan Boys go 2 for 2 with Cole capturing the votes from around the Triad this week!

This past week Cole finished with the low score in a 4 school match at Grandover, leading the Trojans to a team win. Cole shot level par 72 on the day and Wesleyan scored 302 as a team. Cole is having a good Junior golf season with 3 medalist finishes already this spring. His scoring differential is around par for the season so far.

Thank you to the Hi-Toms, High Point Enterprise and the Rotary Club of High Point for giving our student athletes a platform.
