Congratulations to Jaxon Kaysen Prom, Chase Vang, Charlotte Vang, and Peyton Thao of team THE ACADEMY for earning a “Golden Ticket” to participate in the Hmong All-Star Game on October 24th at Spectrum Center, home of the Charlotte Hornets! 🎫

They’ll have the opportunity of a lifetime to compete in the 10-12 age group on an NBA court, an experience that most kids can only dream of. 🙏

I’ve been blessed with the opportunity to train and develop Kaysen, Chase, and Charlotte throughout the summer in my Basketball Academy, preparing them for our tournament.

Kaysen may come across as a quiet kid, but when the ball is in his hands, you can see his passion for the game. Chase, on the other hand, is a very confident player who never shies away from competition. Charlotte, our queen bee, is never afraid to face off against the boys and continues to lead the way for our Girl Movement. And let’s not forget Peyton, who traveled all the way from Minnesota to be part of our Youth Movement! He’s definitely as good as advertised!

Although this was the first time all four of them played together, they battled their way all the way to the Finals.

Congratulations to Jaxon Carswell, Nikko Xiong, Ken Yang, and Jacob Vang of team ICON for earning a “Golden Ticket” to participate in the Hmong All-Star Game on October 24th at Spectrum Center, home of the Charlotte Hornets! 🎫

They’ll have the opportunity of a lifetime to compete in the 13-17 age group on an NBA court, an experience that most kids can only dream of. 🙏

These boys have been a part of our Youth Movement from Day One, and I’ve been blessed with the opportunity to train and develop them through my Basketball Academy. Ken has developed into a true floor general, Nikko has a quick and confident release on his jump shot, Jaxon has the versatility to play and guard multiple positions, and Jacob brings a finesse game along with the ability to be the perfect glue player for this team.

Icon recently won our Hmong Youth Basketball Tournament in their division, and I can envision them continuing to win multiple championships throughout their careers. They’re going to take over Hmong basketball by storm!

Congratulations to LEO VANG on earning a “Golden Ticket”, an exclusive invitation to represent the Hmong community as an All-Star and compete on an NBA court on October 24th at Spectrum Center, home of the Charlotte Hornets!🎫

Leo has been a part of The Movement from Day One, from playing in our very first basketball open run on an outdoor court to now having the opportunity to compete on an NBA court.

Over the years, he has developed into an elite point guard, showcasing a lightning-quick first step, strong court vision, and the ability to score at will. His growth is a reflection of the dedication and hard work he continues to put in as he establishes himself as a Hmong All-Star!

They’ll have the opportunity of a lifetime to compete in the 10–12 age group on an NBA court, an experience that most kids can only dream of. 🙏

Led by two of the most talented guards I’ve ever seen at this age level, Josiah and Nathaniel, the team went a perfect 4-0 in the tournament, capped off by winning the championship in their division. They’re a part of the next generation that will be taking over the future of Hmong basketball! 💪
