Bucking K Ranch Rodeo and Event Center is a 64 acre ranch located in Hickory Grove, on Hwy 97. The owner, Jeff Kelley, is a native of York County and has been involved in riding and rodeos all his life. He currently houses horses and bulls at the ranch. Our vision is to keep rodeo and ranch life alive by bringing a wholesome family atmosphere to our community. We want to promote amateur and youth development through our rodeos and riding events. The ranch is close to Woods Ferry, Kings MTN trail rides and camping. We are hoping to bring in people to York County by hosting events and being a partner in the community. Bucking K Ranch will be hosting weekend practice events for youth riders and plans to start horse boarding soon.

We are overwhelmed by how amazing and loyal all our rodeo fans were last night!! We had great weather Friday evening and then Saturday came with very unpredictable on and off rain and conditions but that did not keep y’all from showing up and showing out for Bucking K Ranch! Those stands were still filled and the rain calmed down and the show went on. Here’s some fans who sat down at 4:30 and stayed until after the rodeo ended. We are forever grateful from the support of our community! Thank yall for hanging in there and getting a little muddy for us 🤠🙌🏼❤️
Our next rodeo is Bucking K Ranch Spring Pro Rodeo 2027 Easter weekend and we can’t wait to have yall back! Please feel free to share all your photos!
