HDA is more than just great dance! We strive to instill a love of dance and appreciation of the arts to all who enter our studio.

While we have a very high-level dance program, we also offer amazing fitness classes, an after school program, a pre-school arts program, and more! Our mission is to provide outstanding dance education to everyone--whether you’re looking for the fun and fitness of a recreational class or a pre-professional program. We believe the gift of dance training will last a lifetime, for lessons learned in class are not simply those that build strong technique, but also build strong character.

It is Season 30 and we are posting videos from the past to celebrate our incredible journey!🎉✨

We are posting “Beauty Within The Beast” by Andrea Woodward Andrea Woodward in 2010 by request! Several people have sent messages requesting this one and we can definitely see why! 🙌

This dance placed 4th in overalls for 12-14 intermediate small groups at Kids Artistic R***e nationals Myrtle Beach. 🏅

Did you know this year marks the centennial celebration of The Martha Graham Dance Company? The oldest modern dance company in the world, founded by Martha Graham, a pioneer of dance in the 20th century. 🙌

Our faculty at Hermitage Dance Academy not only teach foundation, technique, terminology and movement but history of dance as well.📖

✨ Yesterday was Women’s Equality Day

Let’s celebrate with a throwback from last year💃✨

This dance choreographed by Brienne was called Suffragette. Women that changed history, leading to the 19th amendment and a woman’s right to vote! 💪

This dance made it to Kids Artistic R***e showcase in 2025 and for those who don’t know, every Hermitage Dance Academy dance that makes it to showcase, we change the ending. So watch til the end because these ladies had us in tears, taking us back to a moment in time…when women casted their first vote.
