💚🎾 Once part of the HRC family, always part of the HRC family!
We had a special visitor stop by HRC last week! Former junior player Izaiah Campos came by to say hello to the staff and share some exciting news about what’s ahead.
Izaiah, who is still a junior in high school, has been accepted to the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics in Morganton, a highly competitive residential program for high school juniors and seniors. The application process looks beyond academics, considering character, leadership, athletics, community involvement, and more — making this an incredible accomplishment.
What made the visit even more meaningful was hearing how much Izaiah’s time at HRC has stayed with him. He shared that the discipline, mental strength, and respect for the game he developed through tennis at HRC have helped shape the student and athlete he is today.
We’re incredibly proud to have been a small part of Izaiah’s journey and even more excited to see where it takes him next.
