The Dance Zone

Senior Spotlight⭐️ Alicia has been dancing since she was three years old. She transitioned from a tearful tiny dancer in her ballet/tap combo classes to discovering her love of dance at Fern Adair Conservatory of the Arts and taking classes in every genre possible.

The first opportunity to participate in a competition group came when she was five years old and she never looked back. Her love story continued when she became a member of the Dance Zone and took great comfort in being reunited with two of her favorite former dance teachers, Ms.Tina and Ms. Bri. She has been fortunate to have learned so much from all her dance teachers including the technique and discipline they have instilled in her which will prepare her for her future endeavors.

Alicia graduated from the Las Vegas Academy of the Arts on May 27 which was her eighteenth birthday. She will incorporate dance in a less formal capacity as she will be attending University of Nevada Reno in the fall and focusing on her major which will include microbiology and immunology.

These last 8 jam-packed days (which explains the lack of main grid posts from us 😅) have been filled with inspiration, growth, and stepping outside of our comfort zone.
We are so grateful to be here at the biggest nationals in HISTORY, surrounded the best studios in and out of the country!!! Every day, we continue to be amazed by the talent around us. The level of dancing here is truly beyond anything we could have imagined.
We hope our dancers have seen what’s possible when they stay dedicated, work hard, and aren’t afraid to rise to the challenge. The growth that happens outside your comfort zone is where the magic begins, and this week has been a reminder of exactly that.
We are so excited for what’s ahead.
One more day. Let’s finish strong.
