Big day in Missoula for the Bengals! Varsity girls claimed their first Mountain West crown in school history and their JV teammates matched that finish. Helena’s boys finished an impressive second behind Bozeman and the JV boys won in dominant fashion. More than 80 teams from four states were in the varsity races. Congrats to all these amazing kids!

Been looking forward to this weekend!
Meet No. 4 takes us to the always incredible Mountain West Classic, set for Saturday at the University of Montana Golf Course in Missoula.
The Bengals will rub shoulders with competitors from Montana, Idaho, Washington and Wyoming. Runners from 85 high schools are registered for the meet. Let’s go Bengals! 🐾

What a day in Bozeman! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️
So proud of this whole team for putting it all on the line at the Bozeman Invitational today. Everyone showed up with focus and intention and the results speak for themselves:
🏆 Girls Varsity – 1st Place
🏆 Girls Junior Varsity – 1st Place
🥉 Boys Varsity – 3rd Place
🥈 Boys Junior Varsity – 2nd Place
Sweeping the team titles on the girls’ side and putting both boys’ teams on the podium takes every single runner, and we’re grateful for the awesome challenge from our competitors.
Time to rest up, celebrate the progress, and get back to work! Mountain West Classic is next up in Missoula on Sept. 19.

Race No. 3 coming up on Saturday at Bridger Creek Golf Course in Bozeman. With 50+ registered, the Bengals are prepared for an exciting competition against runners from across the state. Racing gets underway at 4 pm with girls JV, followed by boys JV at 4:40 pm, girls varsity at 5:10 pm and boys varsity at 5:50 pm. Let’s go, Bengals!

The Helena High girls cross country team is building momentum early in the 2026 season after another strong performance at the Flathead Invite in Kalispell.

Another strong day for these Bengals! Both the boys and girls won the varsity and JV divisions at the Flathead Invitational on Friday at Rebecca Farms in Kalispell. Milo Kauffman also collected the individual boys crown and the JV girls registered a perfect score of 15, placing 1-5 and finishing with 7 girls in the top 10. Bengals go back to the starting line in Kalispell on Friday at the Flathead Invitational. The varsity boys get things started at 11 am and will be followed by the varsity girls at 11:30 am, JV girls at 12 pm and JV boys at 12:40 pm. The course at Rebecca Farms will be host to runners from 30 schools. Let’s go, Bengals!

Outstanding opener for the Bengals in Billings!
