🍎 WEEK 3: FUEL — NOURISH 💪

We’ve practiced showing up and making quality reps. Now it’s time to focus on giving our bodies the fuel they need to move, recover, and grow stronger!

Nutrition doesn’t have to mean complicated meal plans, restrictive diets, detoxes, or chasing the latest “quick fix.” This week, we’re going Back to Basics with three simple things:

🥩 PROTEIN — Include a quality protein source to support and maintain muscle.

🥦 PRODUCE — Add fruits or vegetables to provide nutrients your body needs.

💧 WATER — Work toward your personal hydration goal throughout the day.

Welcome to our 3 FOR ME Challenge! Each day, see if you can include all three: protein, produce, and water. You don’t need a perfect day or a perfect plate. Just look for your next opportunity to make a choice that nourishes you.

This week’s assignment:

✅ Check off Protein, Produce, and Water on your report card.
🍽️ Share an easy meal or snack on our “What’s on Your Plate?” board.
⭐ Extra credit: Share your favorite high-protein snack idea with your Fit Family!

Food is not something you need to earn, and it isn’t something to fear. It is fuel that helps you live, move, train, recover, and enjoy the things you love.

What is one simple choice you can make today to nourish your body? Share it below, then book your workouts and join us for Week 3! 👇

🧠 MONDAY MINDSET: INTENTIONAL

It is easy to go through the motions—but movement becomes more meaningful when it has a purpose.

Being intentional means slowing down long enough to ask:

What am I trying to accomplish with this movement?

It may mean improving your setup, controlling the weight, paying attention to your posture, or choosing a modification that allows you to move well.

You don’t need to complete the most reps or lift the heaviest weight to have a successful workout. One controlled, purposeful rep can teach you more than ten rushed ones.

As you enter the gym this week, leave the comparisons at the door. Focus on your body, your movement, and your progress.

Don’t just count your reps. Make your reps count. 🎯

👇 What is one movement you will practice with greater intention this week?

The Power of AND 💚

“I already walk every day.”

My response? That’s fantastic! AND… let’s add to it.

“I’m already pretty active.”
Wonderful! AND… let’s build strength.

“I hike. I golf. I garden. I play with my grandkids.”
KEEP DOING ALL OF IT! AND… let’s train your body so you can keep doing those things for years to come.

At Fit Body, we’re not asking you to replace the movement you already enjoy. We want to help you ADD to it.

Walk AND build strength.
Hike AND improve balance.
Stay active AND build stamina.
Do what you love AND train for the ability to keep doing it.

Because the goal isn’t simply to exercise more. The goal is to build a body that allows you to keep saying YES to the life you love.

So when you tell me, “I already walk every day,” I’m going to tell you:

I am SO happy you do! Now let’s add to it. ❤️

Keep walking. Keep hiking. Keep gardening. Keep traveling. Keep playing with those grandkids. AND let us help you build the strength, stability, and stamina to keep doing it.

🎒 SEPTEMBER BACK TO BASICS
⭐ WORD OF THE WEEK: INTENTIONAL

This week, we shifted our attention from simply completing the workout to improving how we move.

Our focus was QUALITY MOVEMENT—because more reps do not automatically mean better results. Faster is not always stronger, and heavier is not always more effective.

Quality movement requires us to be intentional.

QUALITY MOVEMENT is the focus.
INTENTION is what makes every rep count.

Being intentional means understanding what the exercise is meant to accomplish and giving your attention to the movement in front of you. It means slowing down when needed, listening to your coaches, controlling the weight, and choosing a modification that helps your body move safely and effectively.

Intentional movement might look like:

🎯 Taking time to create a strong setup.
🐢 Slowing down instead of racing through the reps.
💪 Choosing a weight you can control.
👏 Asking a coach to check your form.
❤️ Selecting the modification that is right for your body.

There is no prize for completing a movement incorrectly. The real win is learning to move with greater control, confidence, and purpose.

The habits we’re practicing this month continue to build upon one another:

✅ First, we committed to SHOWING UP.
✅ Now, we are learning to MOVE WELL.

During your next workout, choose one exercise and give it your full attention. Don’t just count the reps—make the reps count!

✏️ WEEK 2: FORM — QUALITY 💪

Last week, we focused on showing up. This week, we’re focusing on what happens once you get here: moving well and making every rep count!

When it comes to exercise, more isn’t always better. Faster isn’t always stronger. The goal is not simply to finish the reps—it’s to perform each movement with purpose and control.

Throughout the week, we’ll return to the foundations:

🏋️ Squat
💪 Hinge
👏 Push
🔥 Pull
🚶 Carry
⭐ Core

Your coaches will help you improve your setup, posture, range of motion, tempo, and technique. Ask questions, listen to your body, and remember that choosing a modification is not “doing less.” A smart modification helps you perform the movement safely and effectively—and that deserves an A+!

This week’s assignment:

✏️ Ask a coach one question about your form.
🐢 Slow down one exercise during each workout.
🎯 Focus on creating your best rep—not your fastest rep.

We’ll also be watching for those Perfect Reps: controlled movements, strong posture, smart choices, and members who are willing to learn!

Whether this is your second workout or your two-hundredth, there is always an opportunity to improve. Come ready to learn, move with purpose, and celebrate what your body can do.

Book your sessions and join us for Week 2—because better reps build better results!

🧠 MONDAY MINDSET: COMMITMENT

Motivation is a feeling. Commitment is a decision.

Motivation may help you begin, but it will not always be there when the alarm goes off, the day gets busy, or staying home sounds easier. That is when commitment takes over.

Commitment doesn’t require a perfect week. It simply asks you to keep returning to the promise you made to yourself.

Today, don’t wait until you feel motivated. Look at your schedule, choose when you will work out, book your sessions, and protect that time.

You don’t need to accomplish the whole month today. You only need to take the next step.

Show up today. Then give yourself another opportunity to show up tomorrow. 💪

🎒 SEPTEMBER BACK TO BASICS
⭐ WORD OF THE WEEK: COMMITMENT

On Wednesday, we began our September challenge with two simple words: SHOW UP.

Showing up is where progress begins—but what gets us through the door when motivation is low, life becomes busy, or staying home would be easier?

Commitment.

SHOW UP is the action.
COMMITMENT is the decision behind it.

Commitment is the promise you make to yourself before the excuses arrive. It’s booking your workout, protecting that time, and walking through the door—even when you don’t feel completely ready.

It doesn’t mean being perfect. It doesn’t mean never missing a workout or having an ideal week. Commitment means that when something interrupts your plan, you don’t give up—you adjust, begin again, and keep moving forward.

Every time you show up, you are saying:

💪 My health matters.
❤️ My future matters.
👏 I am worth the effort.
👟 I will keep the promise I made to myself.

Whether your September goal is two workouts a week or five, your commitment is personal. Don’t compare your number or your journey to anyone else’s. Just keep taking the next step—and remember that your coaches and Fit Family are here to take it with you.

This weekend, look ahead at your schedule and decide when you will show up next week. Book your sessions now, protect that time, and follow through for the person who matters most: YOU.

👇 Tell us below: What helps you stay committed when motivation is missing?

SHOW UP • MOVE WELL • FUEL WELL • RECOVER • REPEAT

🎒 WEEK 1: ATTENDANCE — SHOW UP! 💪

Our Back to Basics month begins with the most important habit of all: showing up.

You don’t have to be the strongest, the fastest, or the most experienced person in the room. You don’t have to feel completely motivated or have everything figured out. You simply need to take that first step through the door—and we’ll meet you there! ❤️

Every time you show up, you are keeping a promise to yourself. You are investing in your strength, health, confidence, and future. Some days you’ll feel amazing, and other days showing up will be the victory. Both days count!

This week’s assignment is simple:

✏️ Set your personal September attendance goal.
✅ Add a checkmark to our gym-wide Attendance Tracker every time you come.
⭐ Extra credit: Try a session time you’ve never attended before!

Your goal doesn’t need to look like anyone else’s. Whether you commit to two workouts a week or five, choose a number that is realistic for you—and then let your Fit Family help you reach it.

Remember: You can’t benefit from the workout you don’t attend. But you never have to do the workout alone.

Are you ready to SHOW UP for yourself this September? Tell us your attendance goal below, book your sessions, and let’s get Week 1 started! 👇

SHOW UP. MOVE WELL. FUEL WELL. RECOVER. REPEAT.
