Whether you're being attacked with a choke or grabbed by the wrist, learning effective escapes and counters will build your self-confidence and could save your life.
We always start slow and add speed along the way because until you have trained yourself for years on end in combative skills the proper technique and timing will not be there when you learn something new. If you just try to do things fast right away technique goes right out the window and you could be left with a fast and yet ineffective strike or escape.
Skill comes after muscle memory, and muscle memory comes through repetition.

Our students learn created drills from our Cinco-Set Escrima System to develop quick-response skills. As they progress in skill and ability they go on to create their own. These three in particular were created by one of the students testing.
As you can tell, we do more than escrima in our Cinco-Set system, we teach knife fighting as well and adapt the techniques from the Escrima to make them applicable to the knife.

We had a fun time putting on two demos for the Kootenai County Sheriff's Department at the National Night Out earlier this year.
Everything from our Escrima and knife drills, to the Tai Chi, and the self-defense techniques and forms are taught right here at the H2HCTC in Hayden ID.
