We're taking another step to make a Trinity education more accessible and affordable for both local applicants and Connecticut's brightest scholars.

Beginning with students applying for the 2027–28 academic year, three new initiatives—including two regional grant programs—will create more opportunities for prospective students and families:

🏙️Hometown Hartford: Through this initiative, eligible admitted students who call Hartford home will receive support covering full tuition, standard room, and board.

📍Centered in Connecticut: Eligible admitted students from Hartford County and surrounding counties will receive half-tuition grants.

🐓Honoring Our Own: Eligible children of Trinity faculty and staff will receive full-tuition remission.

Do you enjoy Trivia? Gathering with friends? A fun challenge? If you answered yes to any of these questions, we've got just the thing for you!

First, our president, Matt Smith , has a question for you to ponder: Which Moon mission was more significant? Apollo 11 or Apollo 12?

Many will say Apollo 12 as it proved Apollo 11 was not a fluke!
So...
In that spirit, Fear the Chicken will return to Progression Brewery this Wednesday, July 29 @ 6:30pm to defend their July 22 title in Bar Trivia. We will prove it was ALL skill, no luck!

Please let us know if you have any interest in joining so we can save seats. We will plan to arrive at 6pm. Food and drinks will be available for purchase from the bar. AND, we can defray the costs with our hard won $25.00 Progression Brewery gift card!

Attention all Trivia buffs! Here's a new fun Bantam mix and mingle venture.

Bantam Trivia! Team name - Fear the Chicken. (What else?!)
The inaugural run was held last night at Progression Brewery's Bar Trivia. And the participating Bantams reported: "We came! We saw! We WON!"

Fear the Chicken enjoyed a strong mix of Experience & Youth! Seasoned veteran alums complemented the youth & energy of recent alums. This combination produced collaboration with good spirits for a winning score. Most importantly, they had loads of fun!
We plan to do this again and will share the date. We hope you will join the fun!

Last week, the Trinity Club of Hartford hosted a welcome reception for local members of the incoming Class of 2030 and their families!
