Meet Luke!

Originally from West Virginia, Luke made the move to Virginia back in 2018. Now 22, he's spent the last 3 years with the Horizons Edge Sports Campus team. Off the clock, he's usually out fishing or golfing.

He recently got into wheelchair basketball to help the team practice, and now he's suiting up to play in the exhibition game himself! Come out and cheer him on.🙌

Meet Tim Grove! Tim represents Houff Corporation, a fertilizer and transportation company based in Weyers Cave, as well as Caritas Tree Farm.

Off the field, Tim is passionate about supporting community programs that serve people with disabilities. He's excited to test his skills again in this year's exhibition game and looking forward to a fun-filled evening that showcases VAIL and the incredible work they do for the community. 🧡

Meet Chris Caballero! Chris is a Dispatcher and Fleet Manager with Keens Storage Trailers and Containers, LLC keeping our fleet running on schedule.

Off the clock, Chris trades the fleet for the diamond, playing vintage baseball the way it was meant to be played. No gloves, no modern shortcuts, just bare-handed grit and underhand pitches straight out of a century ago. ⚾

Chris calls Bridgewater home, where he lives with his fiancé. Fair warning: ask him about his latest tournament and be ready to hear all about the next one. 😄

Meet Andrew Lam! Andrew is a Partner and Wealth Advisor with Strategent Financial. A University of Virginia grad, he worked for Dimensional Fund Advisors in Charlotte, NC and Austin, TX before moving back home to Virginia to join Strategent in 2022.

This online gathering, hosted by the Virginia Department for Aging and Rehabilitative Services and the Virginia Association of Centers for Independent Living, will offer an opportunity to reflect on the progress made, recognize ongoing efforts, and celebrate those who continue to advance disability rights every day.
